The woolly Mammoth looked like huge, Shaggy elaphants that lived in the Northeren parts of Asia,North America, and Europe. The long shaggy hair kept the Woolly Mammoth warm through the long, cold days and nights. The Woolly Mammoth would use its long tusk to clear away the coat of ice from the ground to eat plants from the ground. It also ate the leaves from bushes, and trees. The Woolly Mammoth hade extremely long tusk made of Ivory. The tusk grew up to 5m(16ft)long and weighed 84kg(185lbs).Thereare well preserved remains found today. Scientist would like to recreate the “Titans of the Ice Age”by cloning the Woolly Mammoth.
